Programmer/Developer

A strong APEX Developer/Programmer is needed for the analysis and consolidation on transitional applications used by the business units

• Based in the CBD
• Good contracting Rates
• Initial 6 month contract = view to extend

Position Background

• A strong all rounder is needed who is passionate about delivery, speed to market, quality and can move across all levels of product development and delivery.
• The Developer/Programmer is primarily responsible for the analysis & consolidation of transitional applications used by the business units.

Key Activities of Role
The Developer/Programmer is responsible to the Team Lead for assisting in the identification of and delivery to their customers business needs, they will also be responsible for determining solutions to business problems, requirements development, requirements management and software development (product delivery).
  
As an experienced Developer/Programmer you will be able to: 

• Apply industry standard systems; analysis, design, modelling and development techniques.
• Utilise your high level analytical skills and programming skills and select the most appropriate approach and techniques for the project.
• Validate requirements against delivery of project outputs
• Demonstrate sound relationship building skills with an ability to work as part of a specialised team in a largely autonomous fashion.
• Demonstrate a resilient, highly motivated and committed approach to work, with a determination to succeed in a challenging change environment.
• Undertake detailed analysis or the end user requirements and systems
• Undertake high complexity analysis and systems delivery and communicate design issues in a manner that is not technical in nature.

The candidate must have underpinning knowledge and understanding of:  

• SDLC, Data Modelling and database design principles, awareness of industry standard programming languages and methods.
• Business analysis to review problems and assist in the identification of appropriate solutions.
• Elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation of business, organizational and/or operational requirements.

 
The candidate must have current working experience with:  
Mandatory   (Looking for proven strong APEX coding skills)
