A large consulting firm, who has recently opened an office in Townsville is currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their new team.
As the Senior Civil Engineer you will become an integral member of the Senior Management Team and  responsible  for contributing to business development activities, providing leadership and mentoring  to project teams as well as  actively implementing the company's vision and strategies.


The Position:

• Provide concept design and technical consultation in areas such as road, pavement, bridge and rail design, mining/ resources, water/ sewer reticulation
• Project Management including design development, cost estimates, tender submissions, scheduling and budgeting
• Contract negotiation
• Risk minimisation through strict adherence to OH& S policies
• Undertake technical reviews of designs and reports

Your Profile:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• 10 + years engineering experience coupled with project management experience
• Demonstrated industry experience; road, drainage, water, sewer and rail design preferred
• 12D, Microstation or AutoCAD experience
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practise
