Senior Project Engineer - Concrete

• FIFO arrangements are also an option

This civil engineering and mining company has offices allover Australia, but here in Queensland there are only a few who can confidently take on projects that are described as remote and logistically difficult.  With offices supplying constant support to their people on site it is easy to see why they have such a loyal client and employee base around them.

The project is a mix of green and brownfield sites and includes: piling works, bridges – associated structures, culverts, ramp extensions, drainage and stormwater all to Main Roads specifications. Works are located close to the city without being close enough to cause any traffic problems.

You will Co ordinate with Foremen ensuring the smooth successful pours, maintaining a positive relationship between site staff, contractors and concrete suppliers. You will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for the structural elements including:

• Quality assurance 
• Matching design with construction
• Project safety
• Preparing stat reports

Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering will be required along with a proven track record of onsite coordinating of construction / engineering preferably with road or rail experience.
