This privately owned and operated engineering firm has continued to grow since starting out as a fabrication company in the 90’s now employing over 60 people, with two offices in Queensland, they complete projects including: Structural steel fabrication and erection, mechanical installation and piling.
We currently have numerous opportunities for experienced Mechanical Project Managers to work on SMP projects in various projects across Queensland. Sub contracting to mining companies and head contractors contract values range to $30M. We are very interested in people with extensive conveyor construction and commissioning experience.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, in this role you will have the following responsibilities
- Cost Management
- Scheduling/Programming
- Management of Subcontracts
- Progress Reporting
- Management of project specific Quality Assurance requirements
- Logistics
- Leadership and Teamwork – Ensuring project objectives are met
We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in materials handling projects involving conveyor works and transfer tower sections. You should also be a tertiary qualified engineer with well developed proven skills in Project Management.
$120,000 - $130,000 – SMP projects, conveyor experience required, projects range up to $30 M, small family friendly culture, long term position.
