Boilermaker - Heavy Equipment

Our Client is currently seeking a Boilermaker on their open cast mining site in Messina.

Skills / Edu / Exp

• Minimum N3 qualification
• Earthmoving equipment
• Qualified Boilermaker (completed trade test, with a Red Seal);
• 2 – 4 years post apprenticeship experience, preferably in the mining industry
• Must have a valid South African driver's license and their own vehicle.
• Must be a South African citizen.                                                                                                     
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must be willing to work shifts.

Duties

• Do plant maintenance;
• Complete job card;
• Complete daily scheduled repairs;
• Deal with breakdowns;      
• Conduct maintenance on relevant plant;
• Focus on health and safety standards.

Abilities

• Able to work under pressure
• Communication skills
