Project Draughtsperson

A position exists in Cape Town for a Project Darughtsperson to produce mechanical drawings in the field of specialised equipment for the mining and resources industry.

Minimum Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Formal Draughting training to a National Diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years relevant experience in heavy engineering, process plant and/or mining environments
• Solid Modelling and AutoCAD (2D and 3D) experience using lastest features

The following would be an advantage:

• Layout and detailing of pump stations and pipelines
• General site management of equipment and systems
• Structural steel and concrete drawings and detailing
• Workshop, manufacturing or fabrication experience
• Costing/Estimating
