Senior Resource Geologist

This International Mining Consultancy forms part of a Global Group providing technical services and expertise to the Mining Industry.  At present they are in the process of building a dedicated Coal Mining team in Brisbane as a result of growth in current projects.  As such an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Resource Geologist.
 
Reporting the Resource Geology Manager the purpose of your role is to carry out resource estimation and to work with due diligence studies, audits, geostatistics, feasibility studies and technical reports.  You will also be responsible for maintaining internal quality control, supervise junior staff and any other ad-hoc duties as requested by Management.
 
To be successful in this role you must possess a tertiary qualification in Geology coupled with previous experience in Coal Mining.  You will have developed a strong working history in resource Geology and ideally be JORC compliant or working towards.  The ability to effectively communicate across various divisions internationally is essential as is the ability to effectively manage your time to meet stringent deadlines.
