Senior Presales Specialist

POSITION: 
The Senior Presales Specialist – is a technical sales position in PTC’s Channel Sales Partner Program. With a working knowledge of the discrete manufacturing industry and common product development challenges, supports PTC’s sales and partners in analyzing customer needs to offers advice on how PTC’s Product Development System (PDS) can be applied to improve customers’ product development processes in Australia and New Zealand.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical expertise and supporting product demonstrations for PTC solutions;
  • Support qualified sales opportunities from the initial meeting or demonstration through to technical closure;
  • Assist in the development of channel partner’s technical sales staff through mentoring and dedicated development sessions along PTC’s product lines;
  • Work with PTC Channel Managers to prioritize opportunity support and partner development in resulting the growth of PTC’s sales revenue in ANZ;
  • Utilize PTC’s global pre-sales network to support sales and channel partners and dedicated customers in technical topics. 

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelor degree or above;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in PLM business and preferred in mining industry or aerospace & defense;
  • Experience of mechanical tools (Pro/Engineer, Creo, or SolidWorks) in a plus;
  • Have IT technology and hands on skill;
  • Proactive, creative and self-motivated;
  • Good team player and interpersonal skill.
