Project Controls or services Manager

An international PQS firm is looking to appoint a Project Controls/Services Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Engineer/Commercial Manager (BSc or Equivalent)
• 10 years’ experience in project controls in a mining, nuclear, petrochemical or heavy engineering environments
• Strong People Management skills.
• Proficiency on Primavera, Ecosys, Reporting Warehouse solutions, etc.

The successful candidate will possess the broad skills involved in establishing and running a project services function, including building a team, developing organisational structures, designing work processes and implementing the project controls system solution. You will also be experienced in defining and implementing requirements across the supply chain. You will be particularly adept at implementing effective risk management and change control processes.

Self-motivation and a high level of individual initiative will be required. Strong communication skills and the ability to delegate as appropriate while exercising a significant level of follow up to achieve objectives is important. The ability to influence through persuasion and relationships is essential to being successful in this position
