This position is on a Drive in Drive out basis to Curtis Island, near Gladstone, with a 21 days on 7 days off roster.
 ESS Support Services Worldwide, part of Compass Group PLC, is currently seeking an experienced Catering Managers to join our brand new accommodation facility based on Curtis island.

This position requires proven catering management experience within a high volume environment. As an ESS Catering Manager you will be required to directly manage the catering team, monitor and maintain quality / HACCP, ordering and ensure we deliver high quality catering and support services to our client. Your passion for exceptional customer service, genuine commitment to safety and strong people management skills are essential for you to succeed in this role.
Ideally we are looking for applicants with the following:

• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Food Safety Supervisor qualification
• HACCP knowledge and experience
• Experience within a high volume catering environment (1000+)
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to write and impliment training and procedures
• Strong IT skills proficient knowledge of ordering and stock control systems
• First class leadership skills with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the teams overall performance
• The ability to drive the customer service policy to yield exceptional customer satisfaction
• A current manual driver's licence
