Safety Management System Specialist

A great opportunity to utilise your manufacturing and mining background to develop the safety management system in a Perth based position on a base salary starting from $120k.

This organisation is one of the biggest mobile plant supplier in WA to both the mining and construction industry. Their services range in selling, renting and maintaining mobile plant machinery. Having their main workshop in Perth they are currently looking to recruit a Safety Management Systems Specialist.

As the SMS specialist you will be involved with developing and improving the system as well as training the safety team in the use of it. You will audit the current system to identify any areas for improvement and will work with the safety management team to ensure the organisation is fully compliant and all policies and procedures are in place. You will report to the OHS manager and liaise with them on a regular basis.

You will have strong experience in developing safety systems in the mining or manufacturing industry. You will have trained people previously in the use of systems and have strong knowledge in this area.
