Tasks

• The Coating Engineer supports the plant production CVD and PVD vacuum process equipment, as well as facility related systems that support the coating operations.  The work content of this position ranges from designing/specifying coating process equipment to troubleshooting the process reactors and supporting systems.  While this person will work primarily with the existing plant engineering and maintenance resources, additional duties include interacting with global manufacturing and RD&E personnel.  This individual will also coordinate the work activities of contractors and vendors needed to support the coating equipment at this location.

Requirements

Bachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with two years focus in process engineering.  A minimum of five years post degree technical industrial experience required.  Candidate must possess well developed skills in vacuum coating systems.  Three years’ experience in successfully implementing TPM, OEE, and predictive maintenance is desirable.  This position requires an individual who has a strong ethical background and is committed to contributing to a 100% safe work environment.
