Description

  • Duties include greeting all guests and vendors and answering all incoming calls. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple personalities on a daily basis.  The receptionist also assists new applicants with questions about the application process and performs administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and able to multi-task.
  • Strong customer focus – both external and internal
  • Proficient (perform the skill with limited assistance with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Work, and Outlook.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
  • Must be a team player with a strong orientation for detail and ability to take the initiative as well as take direction.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Disciplined work ethic and works with a sense of urgency and has a drive for results.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime if needed.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellent customer service to vendors and co-workers.  Demonstrate a modest, pleasant appearance that represents the SWN image.
  • Performs all reception functions including answering all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner and transfer calls to the appropriate employees. Take messages when appropriate and deliver to the appropriate employee.
  • Greet and assist visitors to the appropriate contacts in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Ensures timely, accurate and professional resolution of a large number of inquiries and requests.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organization/project policies, regulations and procedures.
  • Assists other divisions with ordering office supplies, scheduling meeting rooms, etc.
  • Responsible for tasks such as invoice tracking, monitoring work orders, ordering supplies, assigning pool vehicles, and other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate any janitorial issues and grounds maintenance issues with the Facilities Coordinator and make sure the lobby area is clean and well maintained at all times.
  • Assist the Facilities Coordinator with special assignments as needed.
  • Keep the “Receptionist Guidelines” document up-to-date at all times.
  • Respects confidentiality in discussing participant/consumer, staff, volunteers and organizational matters.
  • Assist co-workers with administrative service and support.
  • Serves as back-up on work order system for Facilities.
  • All other necessary office related projects as needed/assigned.
