WorkPac has been engaged to recruit an experienced Senior / Lead Structural Design Engineer to join an EPCM to help design a multibillion dollar Coal Greenfields project in QLD.

About the role:
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of bulk materials handling machinery including stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders and conveyors, for a multibillion dollar Greenfields project in QLD.

Tasks include:

• Lead a design team in mining project delivery 
• Utilise your engineering expertise across project design, materials handling and structural integrity analysis 
• Work alongside multidisciplinary Engineers 
• Contribute to quality and safety systems

Experience:

• At least 10 years experience working in a Design Consultancy
• Thorough understanding of Australian standards 
• Ability to use structural design and analysis software
• Structural Engineering degree 
• Excellent communication skills

A requirement will be that the successful applicant must be available to start within a very short period of time.

Remuneration: 
This is a contract role with the opportunity to work directly for a leading EPCM and the salary will depend on experience. 

Hourly rate will coincide with experience
