Environment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
 
AECOM is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team of professionals in our
Saskatchewan District.
 
Responsibilities:
-Plan and implement geotechnical investigations using various drilling and sampling techniques,
- Undertake analysis and design for geotechnical components related to highway and railway projects, pipelines, large scale industrial foundations, mining, landfills and other civil infrastructure;
-Perform design studies and provide geotechnical recommendations related to the design and construction of stability of natural and manmade slopes, , retaining & revetment structures, shallow & deep foundation systems;
- Site inspection, Construction QA/QC roles, Tender package preparation.
-Direct/supervise junior staff to achieve project deliverables
-
-Project Management;
-Proposal and report preparation;
-Client relationship management;
-Business development.
 
Qualifications:
-B.Sc. in related Civil /Geotechnical Engineering, Masters is an asset.
-Registration in or eligibility for registration in APEGS or an international equivalent
-6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment
-Demonstrated commitment to safety & quality management
-Exceptional communication skills.
-Preferably, we are seeking a strong candidate for our Saskatoon office
