Jnr Safety Officer

My client, a Multidisciplinary construction group that operates internationally and is well positioned to manage a range of projects of any scale, is currently seeking a female Junior Safety Officer for their Rustenburg/Brits site. FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY!

Minimum Requirements

  • Samtrac, Hira, Incident investigations, NEBOSH (NOSA or international), COMSOC, Working at heights, Fall protection Planner, IRCON, ICAT
  • Appropriate diploma in Safety Management.
  • 1 - 3 years experience as Safety officer in construction.
  • Knowledge of all relevant legislations
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Job Specification

  • Day to day management of site safety issues
  • Responsible for developing and implementing health & safety programmes on a project in collaboration with site management or Engineer, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation
  • Management of safety on site.
  • Administration of safety system requirements
  • Advises Site / Project Manager on all material, equipment and safety-related matters
