Manager Process and Technology

Qualifications:

• College/university degree in engineering (ideally mining, chemistry, metallurgy, geology or related fields)
• Relevant experience in similar areas
• Knowledge of regulations governing the inspection of mines
• In-depth knowledge of norms and quality requirements as well as quality control management
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent level of French and English

Good command of IT tools The position:

• Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, as Process and Technology

Manager/Superintendent you will be in charge of:

• Planning, organizing and managing team work performance in the different services
• Defining workforce needs
• Coordinating, monitoring and managing operations to ensure product quality whilst optimizing costs • Drawing up and monitoring the department's budget
• Personnel management
• Providing all the conditions needed to implement and attain a stable level of operations that will underpin improvement of product quality and optimal use of human resources and finances
• Developing the quality control system and ensuring its efficient use in reaching objectives and production targets
• Monitoring and making sure R&D is carried out effectively to study and propose cost reductions whilst maintaining optimal quality of finished products
• Supplying technical support to the different operational sectors of the Company mining complex
• Creating and evaluating opportunities for process improvement
