Drill and Blast Superintendent

Due to growth this multi-national mining company is looking for an experienced Drill and Blast Superintendent to lead their Drill and Blast team. With a number of sites in Australia and around the world, this company is going from strength to strength. 

You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of design and planning for all drill and blast activities, improve efficiency of day to day drill and blast activities through effective personnel management and operating practices. You will liase with all stakeholder's of drill and blast activities and ensure activities are carried out in line with site safety procedures. 

This role requires extensive experience in open pit drilling, including technical aspects of design and scheduling. Blasting knowledge backed up by a strong knowledge of explosive products and open cut applications.
