Senior Safety and Training Advisor

A chance to work with a global mining organisation in their open pit mine site as the Senior Safety and Training Advisor on a 8/6 roster.

An opportunity is currently being offered with this organisation for an experienced hard rock Senior Safety and Training Advisor.
 
In your role as the Senior Safety and Training Advisor you will report directly to the open pit Mine Manager. You will lead a team of 3 safety advisors and coordinator with other seniors across the site. You will work to ensure complete compliance across the open pit site and will develop the safety management system where needed. You will prepare and present monthly reports on compliance and LTI’s. You will manage and coordinate all the training manuals and reports ensure all employees are receiving the training required and in a timely manner.
 
You will have a qualification in training, as a minimum the Cert IV in TAE. You will have experience in a training position and managing people in your team. Cert IV in OHS is ideal however your experience in similar type of positions is most important.
