HSSE Supervisor

Our Client
Our client is a joint venture based in Perth who is involved in the commissioning support for the construction of LNG trains, utilities and domestic gas processing and compression plant. The two clients who make up this partnership are leading EPCs and global specialists in engineering services to the oil and gas and construction industries.

The Position
Due to the award of the E&I and SMP side of Gorgon our client is starting to man up on the health and safety side and therefore require a HSSE Supervisor to work in their Henderson office. Key responsibilities and duties are listed below:
  • To maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all
  • Offer assistance to promote safety awareness and understanding
  • Mentor and support safety advisors in the field
  • Assist with incident investigations
  • Communication via Prestart/Toolbox meetings
  • Ensure all HSSE Supervision and Advisors are fully conversant with the Client Permit to Work System
  • Perform required inspections/audits
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5 years’ experience in HSSE within the construction industry
  • Proven skills in hazard and risk management within a construction environment
  • Cert IV – Health and Safety
  • Diploma in OH&S
