HSE Manager

At the forefront of the resources sector this organisation is recognised for their extensive mining operations in Australia. 

Due to an internal restructure, an excellent opportunity is on offer for a HSE Manager to lead and mentor a highly skilled team to ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental policies and procedures are in line with current legislation. 

Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and operational aspects of the HSE Department. To do this you will facilitate the continuous improvement of the HSE management systems and ensure the ongoing compliance to the Australian Standards for Safety, Quality and Environmental Management. In addition to this you will provide HSE oversight and mentorship to all operations, including but not limited to incident investigation, HSE trends analysis, performance improvement, training and awareness.  
 
To be successful it is essential that you have a relevant tertiary qualification and have significant amount of demonstrated experience in quality, safety and environmental audits and the development and implementation of integrated management systems. It is desirable that you also have experience working in a similar role within a Queensland metalliferous mine.
