Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Description

Senior / Principal Geotechnical Engineer is required to work on overseas mining projects at feasibility, design and construction stages.

The geotechnical work in the section is varied, and largely involves the design and construction of surface infrastructure (earthworks, slopes, foundations, dams and waste management), and the design of tailings dams, waste dumps, leach pads and open pits for mining operators. Underground geotechnical engineering design services may also be required.

The Person

You should be qualified to master's degree level in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology, and have experience on mining and construction projects, preferably with some overseas experience. You should demonstrate experience with geotechnical design and have relevant computer skills.

Excellent communication and report writing skills are key ideally coupled with project and team management skills.
