The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
This is a field based role, working from home covering a local patch, although you may be required to travel and assist other local service engineers. You will deal with a varied client base and work on a variety of mining equipment including tunnellers, excavators, conveyors and shovels. Your duties will be to service and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults that occur on the machines as well as making any modifications to equipment based on client's requirements.
Key Skills:
Experience in FLAMEPROOFING to ATEX standards are a must. The successful engineer will already have experience as a field service engineer where you would have had extensive knowledge of working on mining machinery. With extensive training and development of staff, candidates from the forces who have worked on related equipment and have skills in fault finding and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues will also be given the opportunity to join this established business.
Benefits: Overtime (£35,000- £50,000 OTE) + Pension + generous holiday package
Salary: £25,000 - £37,000 basic salary
Commutable from: Doncaster, Leeds Teesside, Sunderland, Whitby
