Business Analyst (Mining)

Horizon Recruitment is currently seeking a Business Analyst with a Strong Mining Background to work in the Vancouver area.

Job Description:

• Consult to clients in order to optimize the application of products and to provide a high level of support to users.
• Identify new opportunities and generate business.
• Provide support to project managers to ensure services are delivered to clients on profitable basis.
• Quality and turnaround time of proposals, bids and tenders.
• Mange project team on specific assignments and ensures quality control.
• Managing team input, logistics and expenses.
• Building of Product Expertise
• Mentoring of Junior Staff.

Requirements:

• BSC in Mining Engineering
• Geologist with Mining experience.
• 6-12 years experience in mining
• 6-12 years experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience with Technology with products such as Gemcom or Enterprise Softwares.

Please not this is a permanent role. Wages will be negotiated.

Contract to start and wages will depend on overall experience.
