Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all phases of design/construction work for major plant modification and expansion projects.
• Designs and Engineers structural steel and concrete foundation projects.
• Manages capital and expense projects.
• Provides technical analysis and problem solving to reduce operating costs.
• Reviews all civil/structural aspects.
• Researches new equipment and facilities required to improve the existing process.

Requirements

• BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 5 years of practical engineering experience in project management in a heavy industrial facility (ie. nonferrous smelter, aluminum plant, chemical plant, or refinery).
