Our client, part of a larger group of companies, is a leading coal producer and supplier of thermal coal.  Their aim is to build and manage a portfolio of high quality mining and resource assets, delivering excellent operational and financial performance.

About the Role

This is an immediately starting Assistant Accounting position, with potential for longer term opportunities.  Reporting into a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Reconciliations of ledgers and bank accounts.
• Month end processing.
• Financial statements.
• Gathering statistical data for monthly reporting pack.
• Assisting in the external audit process.
• Opportunity to be evolved in exciting projects including process and systems improvements.

About You

This is a great role for a degree qualified Assistant Accountant with a minimum of three years in either a commercial or business services environment who is looking for a strong mentor and the opportunity contribute to improving the procedures and systems that are currently in place.  If you are available for an immediate start, work well under pressure and enjoy working in a relaxed and friendly team, then this is the ideal role for you.
