Senior Mining Engineer

  • 5-7 years Experience/Open Cut Gold Silver and Zinc mining
  • $160k - $180K Base plus Super plus Bonus
  • Kalgoorlie residential Location
We require a Senior Mining Engineer to help us fast track our ore process. We are looking for an expansion that will include a 480,000 tones per annum gold circuit.  The position represents an opportunity to be part of a tight team of engineer.

Required Skills:
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification as a Mining Engineer
  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in mining preferably on site
  • Open cut Gold, Silver and or Zinc experience would be beneficial
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years previous strong experience with Vulcan and or Minescape
  • Willing and able to live at Kalgoorlie or sounding areas
  • A high level of motivation and initiative
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • A High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with excellent client focus
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Needs to be patient and able to cope with deadlines and pressure during busy times
