The Company

One of the world's largest commodity producers, they have operations globally and significant growth plans for Australia. Despite the GFC, this company has continued to invest, growing significantly with new capital spending programs into fixed assets, development opportunities for their staff and a company focus on innovation.
With a number of strategic challenges across site, they are looking to bolster their skills in Chemical Engineering by appointing some experienced hands into their highly skilled Chemical Process team. 


The Role

• Planed and reactive maintenance including installation, servicing and repair across a range of heavy mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, pipe networks etc
• General fitting and fabrication work on fixed mechanical assets
• Monitor and record keeping of safe mechanical maintenance activities

The Person

To be considered for this role you MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• At least 2 years post certificate experience
• Experienced mechanical fitter in a heavy engineering environment e.g. mining, petro-chemicals, steel, power or aggregates
