Site Cost Controller

Are you an experienced Site based Cost Controller looking for a large EPCM Project and a new challenge based in WA with excellent remuneration? We have the role for you available now?  Use your cost control experience and skills to work across a number of stages of this large project based in WA? 

As the Site Cost Controller in the Project Controls team based on site you will be reporting to the Lead Cost Controller and have the added responsibility of providing accurate commercial advice while participating in cost studies and providing advice to the Project Management teams on all cost matters. 

Duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Updating and maintaining cost databases 
• The review of current and subsequent budgets and staff plans for the project teams 
• The tracking of weekly labour costs to ensure spending is kept within budget, making adjustments where appropriate 
• Taking part in change management processes 
• Taking part in costing reviews and costing studies 
• Analysing all information to be able to highlight any problem areas and to be able to explain all data presented 

This role is vital to the development of this large project and will assist with all current construction activity as well as forecasting for future phases. 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience within a cost control role of 5 years+ 
• Previous EPCM experience of 3+ years preferably in the rail, mining or minerals processing sector 
• A successful track record of accurately recording, analyzing, interpreting and forecasting cost data for large projects 
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
