The Company
Our Client is an Australian based company with operations all over the globe. They offer Mining specialised Services to the mining, quarrying and construction industries.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer with several years’ detailed design in mining or petrochemical industries. Reporting to the Chemical Process Manager, you will be responsible for an operations team covering several sites, the main function of this role being to manage the key manufacturing assets on projects in mining and heavy industry, ensuring that a sustainable organisation committed to operational excellence is maintained. Experience in Aspen/Hysys software is desirable.

The Criteria
Sound technical understanding of packaged & bulk materials or mining/ large manufacturing processes.
You will need experience supporting the design process from the concept stage to ready for operation and you will also have the opportunity to be involved in plant commissioning and in research & development type projects.
Degree qualified with at least 5 years or similar experience in operational roles in the manufacturing, mining or transport/distribution sectors is preferred but not essential.
