Electrical Engineer

• 12 month contract
• DIDO –Bowen Basin
• Tier 1 Coal Miner

This is a unique opportunity for an Electrical Designer/Drafter to work not only for one of the world’s largest mining companies, but to be on site where the action is. Ideally you will live in Central Queensland or the Mackay area as this role is a Monday – Friday DIDO role with camp accommodation provided. The contract will run for 12 months and beyond.

To be successful in this role you with have at least 4 years heavy industrial design experience, preferably in coal mining. You will be proficient in AutoCAD 2D and experienced in updating existing drawings. One thing that makes this role exciting is the variety of work, this includes working on all maintenance, upgrades and small capital works. Your other duties will include, electrical installations, cable calculations and voltage range.
