Our Mines and Export operations based in Whyalla, South Australia, is a thriving iron ore mining business currently exporting 6 million tonnes per annum of hematite and magnetite to the Asian market. Our plans to increase our exports to 12 million tonnes per annum in the next 2 years will offer challenging work and opportunities for career development across our whole operation.
This is a newly created and key role within the mining production team, reporting directly to the Principal Geologist. Your main focus will be to provide a high level of technical support across the entire geology team and also be highly involved in the mentoring and development of our less experienced staff.
You're a great communicator and technically skilled, and have an ingrained focus on safety. With recognised qualifications in Geology and experience in mine/production geology, you'll bring your field mapping experience and passion for your field to bear on some of the complex challenges we're facing.
