Engineering Manager: Electrical

Their current requirement is for an Engineering Manager with a strong Electrical and Control Systems background to take on a strategic role which will support top level management across their Australian operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring they continue to grow and develop their business portfolio.


This role will require the following:

1. Responsible for all Electrical and Control aspects of the Brisbane Office.
2. Monitor the Electrical and Control design to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and safety requirements
3. Manage the Electrical and Control disciplines for the engineering and development of specifications for various clients
4. Provide technical support to Electrical and Control field and staff personnel
5. Manage the planning and recruitment of resourcing for the disciplines for the future
6. Assist with the preparation and development of the annual budget and business plan.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience working in Australia with proven past experience in a Project Management/Engineering Management role.  You will have a technical understanding of Control Systems and LV/MV Electrical Engineering and be comfortable managing a team of engineers. Business Development and Sales experience would also be highly regarded in this role.
