About the Company
The company are an expanding oil and gas-field services company with operations across 5 continents. With a dedicated focus on Health and Safety they have expanded their drilling operations into the Queensland CSG market and are expanding rapidly.
With excellent technology, a great industry brand and a dedicated team of professionals, they are looking for experienced Drillers and Assistant Drillers to join their Queensland operation.
About the Role
The roles will focus predominantly on Workover and Completions Drilling at multiple rig sites throughout Central Queensland. Working, at times, unsociable hours and in varying harsh weather conditions the positions are well-suited to those with previous onshore oil or gas drilling experience.
The roles will be supported by a great team of professionals throughout the state. The roles will have a strong HSE focus and require individuals who have a good HSE record in previous operations.
These are full time, preferably permanent positions, however contract roles may exist depending on individual circumstances and suitability.
About You
In order to be successful you must be experienced in onshore oil or gas drilling and should have substantial experience in workovers and completions. You will be a flexible and dynamic individual who is comfortable working long-hours in harsh conditions.
You should have the following training and certifications, along with suitable industry experience:
- HSE Induction (1&2)
- Driller's Well Control (IWCF)
- Permit to work Authority and Holder
- Fire Prevention
- TAPROOT (2day)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- First Aid
- H2S breathing Apparatus
- Vertical Tower Rescue
- LL Certification
- Dangerous Goods Certification
You should also be in good physical health given the extremities of the environment and the role.
