Mine Planning Engineers - North QLD

Our client operates state of the art open cut and underground operations along with processing and smelting facilities and seeks several Mine Planning Engineers with varying levels of experience.

Position: Mine Planning Engineers will have a proven background in coordinating and facilitating strategic projects, undertaking short and medium term planning activities, and overseeing the quality control for mine design processes and plans. You will also be involved in the mentoring of graduate and junior engineers and must have proven mine planning experience within the base metals mining industry.

Essential Position Requirements: Mine Planning Engineer

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Mining)
• 4-10 years proven mine planning, mine design, mine stoping, mine geology, rock mechanics and ventilation knowledge/experience
• Strong coordination and leadership abilities (senior position)
• High level communication and time management skills
• Demonstrated coordination skills with the ability to meet timelines
• Strong problem solving, analytical and report writing skills
• Proven commitment to health safety and environment
