Engineer Mining - SCM

Role Description:

• Reporting to the Manager, Site Technical Services, the Engineer Mining role is responsible for providing technical expertise in the development and implementation of and short-range mine plans which are economically viable and meet all environmental and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related engineering field.
• Strong computer skills required, including MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills: written, oral and presentation formats.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment is essential.
• Ability to interface and communicate with operations personnel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively under general supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications Preferred:

• SurvCADD, Ellipse and Runge experience preferred.
• Two to five years relevant mine engineering experience.
