About the Company

At present there are numerous opportunities in a range of locations - at range of different levels including Safety Advisor through to Senior Safety Lead (aka Safety Manager).

About the Role

Typically I am looking to speak to HSE professionals at all levels who are looking for opportunities in the resources and related heavy industries. 

The opportunities that arise frequently have the following requirements;

  • Regional location requiring either a residential or FIFO/DIDO arrangement
  • Experience in a mining, infrastructure construction projects environment
  • Specialization in either open cut or underground operations
  • Understanding and demonstrated experience in safety culture facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in reducing LTI's/MTI's - an ability to implement strategies to reduce monthly averages.
  • A range of experience including auditing, safety design and managing a team of safety professionals, and working with supervisors to reduce incidents and resolve repetitive safety issues.
About You

Safety professionals who have the following are highly sought by my clients;

  • Degree qualification in OHS is mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to change culture
  • Experience as a safety professional working on site in various environments including mining, brownfield construction project or related heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated experience, understanding and/or training in LEAN manufacturing principles and/or training in Six Sigma methodologies.
