  • My Client is a highly ranked ASX listed Mining Corporation in the gold sector. They are a company that are committed to providing a safe working environment with zero harm and who offer their employees with the opportunity to grow and be promoted within in its organization
  • Currently, they are looking to fill several roles including an Underground Mine Manager

The Role
  • Reporting to the General Manager
  • Short, medium and long term planning for the underground mine including LOM planning
  • Supervision of all underground mining activities
  • Provide effective management and leadership
  • Reporting on annual budgets, reserve statements and forecasting
  • Ensure mine plans and schedules are current and are aligned with strategic goals and operational needs

You will need
  • Mining Engineering Degree
  • WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in same or similar role with underground exposure
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Effective problem solving skills 
  • Attention to detail – time management, record keeping etc
  • Superior analytical and communication skills
