The Role Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Foreman on site we are looking for a dynamic, suitably experienced individual to join our Pajingo operation in the role of Diesel Fitter. This position contributes to the Company’s goals by providing effective services to the underground mechanical maintenance team at Pajingo Mine site.

To be successful
The Diesel Fitter must be self-motivated and a self-starter. The incumbent must also have the ability to communicate effectively with persons in all levels of the organisation and be a lateral thinker who is always looking for a better way to do things. All work must be completed to a high standard and incorporate sound safety practices.

It is preferred that the Diesel Fitter has the following experience;
Elphinstone LHDs Sandvik Drills Caterpillar and Ancillary Equipment Sandvik LHDs Hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics 24 volt electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics

Pajingo Operation Pajingo Gold Mine is located approximately 70 kilometres from Charters Towers and a further 130 kilometres from Townsville. Employing approximately 300 people including contractors, this is a residential site with the majority of employees living in Charters Towers. The company provides transport to and from site each day. Working at Pajingo and living locally creates the opportunity for people to be home with their families every night.
