A highly respected mining organisation is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer for their underground operation in North Queensland. This role will allow you to gain experience with all aspects of the operation and provide an excellent career path to even more senior positions within the group. You will also enjoy a supportive working environment within a multidiscipline team.

Working within a large technical services team and reporting to the Planning Superintendent this role will see you involved with many areas of mine engineering allowing you to become a well rounded professional.
To be considered for this role you will need tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering and proven experience in an underground mining environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required and previous experience with mining software will also be highly regarded.

The role will incorporate, however is not limited to, coordinating strategic projects focused on optimising operations, the delivery of short/medium planning, scheduling and design for mine activities and will also require experience including the understanding of geology and ventilation.
