Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• [Company] an international, employee-owned earth sciences engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Mining Geotechnical Engineer for our Denver, CO office. The Denver office employs geologists and engineers that support the mining, pipeline, and infrastructure markets domestically and internationally.

• Work will focus on project and staff management, business development, civil and geotechnical design, and mine development and mine closure design.

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have the experience and reputation within the engineering field to help expand the client base within mining and other markets in the western United States and Internationally.
• Applicants for this position should have a M.S in Civil Engineering or related field and at least 10 years’ experience.
• Design experience, self-motivation, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and a strong work ethic, and good communications and leadership skills are essential.
• The ideal candidate will also have an MS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering, as well as business development experience.
