Staff Civil Engineer

• [Company] is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join our Gladstone, Michigan office.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

• Working with [Company]  clients to provide detailed design and construction support on various infrastructure improvement projects;
• Involvement in various aspects of project planning, design and construction;
• Performing engineering analysis, design and assessment of various access roadways, slope grading, drainage improvements, and mine infrastructure;
• Providing engineering support during construction;
• Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines;
• Assisting with proposal packages;
• Assist with 3D Civil CAD for plan preparation; and
• Work on short-term field assignments

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the engineering / environmental field;
• EIT status preferred;
• Ability to work with a team of professionals on engineering related projects;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Commitment to providing a quality work product;
• Ability to work in the field for extended periods;
• Must be eligible for employment in the U.S., possess a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment physical including drug screen and pre-employment background check.
