Project Geotechnical Engineer

  • The Salt Lake City office of Golder Associates Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a Project Geotechnical Engineering position.

This individual will be responsible for coordination and execution of project tasks including:

  • Acquisition, interpretation and presentation of data,
  • Analysis and reporting,
  • And development of conclusions and recommendations.
  • Candidate will work directly under senior staff. Candidate must have strong technical and communications skills and demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering investigations, laboratory analysis and report preparation. Previous consulting experience and education in mining or pipeline sites through the US and worldwide is preferred. Candidate will be responsible for supporting project proposals, managing project tasks, and interfacing with subcontractors and clients.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Geotechnical Engineering within Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Idaho
  • MS Degree from an accredited academic institution
  • MS Office competent
  • Proficiency with GIS
  • Solid organization and time management abilities
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of personal integrity with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as dictated by project demands
  • Pass a pre-employment physical including a drug screening and background check
