Lineborers

Our Engineering Division has machining workshops in both Gladstone and Mackay and we offer our customers a variety of services such as vertical and horizontal boring, lathe work, heavy equipment reclamation, sub-arc welding and on-site lineboring.

To ensure we continue providing a high level of customer service, we have several positions available for experienced Lineborers. Initially based in our Paget workshop, it is expected that once confident, the successful candidates will service clients throughout the Bowen Basin region. As such, it is imperative candidates have a current Drivers Licence.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Australian Trade Qualification (ideally in Fitting and Turning or a relevant discipline) 
• Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in a similar role with solid machining and MIG welding experience
• Manufacturing background with the ability to work unsupervised
• Current Queensland Drivers Licence
• Able to adapt to and cope with a busy and diverse workshop
• A solid work ethic with strong communication skills
• Adhere to strict site safety requirements and paper work.
