Maintenance Superintendent your responsibilities will include managing and prioritising your workloads, Leading and mentor the maintenance teams.

THE POSITION:-
 
Mechanical superintendent will leader and supervise our maintenance teams. Maintaining, coordinating and developing the maintenance team and contractors to ensure that  mobile equipment tasks are carried  out  to  a standard  that  ensures safe  and  cost  effective operations  and  continuing process capability.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
  • Ensuring the Maintenance teams plan & schedule all work according to company work management processes.
  • Working closely with the Scheduling team.
  • Ensuring all department availability and cost control KPI's are met or exceeded.
  • Deliver plans which minimise cost and downtime but maximise equipment effectiveness.
  • Managing the safety performance while conducting regular safety audits of the Maintenance team via direct and ongoing liaison.
 
 
You will require:
 
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualifications.
  • Experienced Man management skills with in the Mining Industry.
  • Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable policy and document development skills.
  • 2 to 3 years working experience as mechanical superintendent.
  • Strong safety focus and environmentally aware leader.
  • Problem solve and practical ability to deliver coherent plans with good interpersonal skills.
