Instrumentation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• The Chantilly office of ECS is our largest branch office. It is also the location of our corporate headquarters. As such, if hired for this position, you will be involved and exposed to some of the largest and most technically challenging projects with which the firm is involved.
• Responsibilities will include installation of instrumentation; periodic monitoring and report preparation.  Instrumentation techniques used include inclinometers, total station, 3D monitoring prisms, leveling rod, water level meter, and seismographs.  Additional duties will include interacting with clients and assisting engineering staff with technical support and project management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or Associates Degree in Science, Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Proficiency in oral communication and math skills.
• Desire to perform field related installation and routine monitoring tasks on active construction projects. 
• Must work well in teams as well as independently.
