Environmental Scientist/Geologist

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in geology, hydrology, engineering or environmental science with four years minimum experience in environmental assessment and remediation
  • Must strictly adhere to all aspects of URS health and safety program
  • Analytical and computer skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and write technical reports
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required

Responsibilities

  • The St. Louis office is seeking an Environmental Scientist / Geologist to assist with task management for a broad range of environmental assessment and remediation projects. 
  • Primary duties include field investigation and sampling efforts, analytical data analysis, work plan and report preparation, budget / proposal preparation. 
  • The successful candidate will assist in planning, implementing and compiling field / laboratory investigation and testing programs as well as project QC programs for field and laboratory efforts. 
  • May require management of subcontractors to ensure compliance with scope of work and stringent safety requirements.
