Resource Geologist

If you are an experienced open cut mining Resource Geologist looking for a new role with a world class employer... Look no further!

To be considered for this position suitable candidates will possess experience in the following:

  • Sound knowledge of the following software MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word & Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Exposure with geo-statistical software such as Supervisor.
  • Extensive experience with modelling software such as Surpac. 
  • Ore-body modelling and resource estimation
  • Resource and pit data collection and database integrity
  • Grade control estimation and management
  • Support mine geologist with resource model reconciliation
  • Production of quality and timely 3-D geological models
  • Reporting
  • Cost control
  • Iron ore experience desireable

Qualifications, Licenses:

  • Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences or equivalent
  • C class drivers licence
