Laboratory Supervisor

A rare opportunity for an experienced Geochemist with supervisory experience to be involved in all facets of a new laboratory. FIFO or Residential

Laboratory Supervisor & Geochemist


We are seeking two (2) experienced Geochemists to commission and operate a new laboratory in Western Queensland.
  • Reporting to the Laboratory Superintendent you will lead shifts and supervise staff in a high throughput 24/7 mineral laboratory

You have:
  • Tertiary qualifications as an Analytical Chemist
  • Direct analytical experience on ICP, XRF, ICPMS or other high throughput multi element techniques
  • Experience in rock sample preparation
  • Experience in general chemistry including titrations and standards preparation
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, particularly in supervising a laboratory operation for extended periods

The successful applicant(s) will actively participate and support other staff in all levels of the laboratory including:
  • sample preparation
  • digestions
  • running instrumentation
  • documentation development
