Senior Mine Surveyor (Underground)

Senior Mine Surveyor (Underground) - North West Queensland
Underground metalliferous mine
Work with an experienced team
FIFO from East Coast

An opportunity is available to join a global resources company in the role of Senior Mine Surveyor to work on a prestigious underground site in North West Queensland. 

Responsibilities will include;
  • Leading activities and processes in the survey department
  • Managing and maintaining the survey control database
  • Surveying of all mine headings and voids to produce plans and volumes
  • Survey control and update of mine plans
  • Maintaining directional and grade control of all development headings
  • General engineering surveying 
  • End of month reporting

As a suitable applicant for this role you will have;
  • Tertiary qualification in surveying
  • Underground hard rock experience
  • Experience with survey based software
  • Understanding of survey control
  • Strong communication skills

A salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 is available for this role depending on skills and experience.
